at River Services Inc. is only limited by your imagination. We offer examples of our work, as well as some of our best-selling basic models here, but custom design and implementation is just as much our hallmark. If you want a variation on an existing dock, or a completely custom creation we will work with you to make it happen. We understand that nearly everyone's boating and waterfront needs and wants are slightly different; where you want the dock to fit, and how you want it to look. What kind of boats and watercraft you own, and how you use them - all of these things help determine the dock that is right for you. Either way, we have some example plans to get you started: The covered slip dock - a standard dock with roofing to protect your boat from weather, the L-dock, featuring a partial roof - room for catching some sun, or cooling off, or the total cover dock - completely roofed with plenty of shade for people and boats alike.
With all of our docks, we build the pier with the pilings on the outside. This is for safety purposes: it keeps smaller boats from floating under the edge of the pier ( and possibly causing injury in the process). Our roofs are build on poles that go from the ground up; the supporting roof poles are never build from the dock up. This method gives your whole dock more support, to ensure its longevity and your safety.

River Services Inc. can do more for you than just build docks, of course. We
have general marine construction experience and have worked on attached porches
that are wonderful settings for small family or social gatherings, or a breathtaking
view of the sunset over the water at night. We can build riprap,
wood seawalls, precast seawalls, and block seawalls that are attractive, yet
functional - they can blend into the natural terrain, or match a dock, shed,
or your house. We can help you with all your TVA and Corp of Engineers
applications and advise you
